Slumdog Millionaire has shown India in poor light many things are exaggerated..for example boy jumping in shit to get autograph or boys stealing tyre and other parts of vehicle in Agra(they want to show that all Indian are theif),or sardar ji made the boy fell from train for a piece of bread no body even a daemon of India will not do this.The Slumdog millionair got so many prices not because it was a great movie (Tare zammen par is far great than this and it is out of oscar list)but because it shows India as poor nation that's what western world like to see.
In India people will say even our great column writers or critics that it was a great movie because they want to show their pseudo Intelligence.
This is not coincidence that V.S Naipaul wining nobel rice for An Area of darkness,Arvind adiga winning booker for White Tiger,Laggan nominated for oscars.This is because all above books described poverty of India and Laggan reminded Britishers of their golden days of ruling India.
so people of India open your eyes don't let other to insult you and maintain your self respect.
